With experience ranging from being an SBDC advisor, a business owner, a nonprofit leader, to a city council member, he possesses a unique and comprehensive understanding of the diverse needs of small businesses.

As the newly appointed Director, Alexander is fully committed to empowering small businesses and driving economic growth in the region. His strategic approach to creating and implementing effective programs will ensure that the SBDC remains the go-to resource hub for one-on-one advising, access to capital, disaster assistance, and industry-specific support in Santa Cruz County.
