Calling Job Seekers
Bring your resume, bring many copies of your resume. This is your chance to meet with employers, learn about their company culture, and the open positions. Exhibiting companies include: Joby Aviation, PayStand, Cabrillo College, Santa Cruz Bicycles, Ambient Photonics, Cruz Foam, Bay Federal Credit Union, Unnatural Products, Santa Cruz Seaside Company, Digital NEST, Zero Motorcycles, and more. There are 2 job openings for every job seeker!
About Launchpad 2022
Santa Cruz Launchpad 2022 will take place in person on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at UC Santa Cruz’s Cowell Ranch Historic Hay Barn. The event begins with student teams competing in the pitch competition with the chance to win $40,000 in cash prizes. In parallel, job seekers will have the opportunity to interact with 10-15 local companies offering 200+ jobs ranging from engineering to marketing, project management, sales, and customer support. This event allows students, job seekers, professionals, and employers the opportunity to show off their resumes and career opportunities and make new connections. This is one of our biggest events of the year, with as many as 500 attendees. There is no charge to attend but registration in advance is required.
Schedule
1-4pm: Round 1 of business plan pitches (open to the public)
5-6pm: Job Fair + Networking
6pm: Chancellor's Welcome, Pitch Competition finalist presentations
6:30-8pm: Job Fair + Networking

Additional Information
Parking is available in lots surrounding the UCSC Cowell Hay Barn (5 minute walk). Free parking after 5pm. Registration required. Vaccinations required. Food & beverage will be provided.
