Mylkubator Announces Startup Incubator for Dairy Industry Innovation

Pascual Innoventures is an innovation branch of Pascual, one of the largest family-owned food and beverage corporations in the world which started in 1969. Pascual was the first company in Spain to launch milk in Tetra packaging and was the first non-US company to obtain FDA approval for their pasteurized yogurts in 1992.

Since then, Pascual has gained over 2000 employees and produced 200 products such as juices, yogurts, coffees, and more in over 60 countries. They launched Pascual Innoventures which hosts global incubation program challenges to find and support startups and entrepreneurs who have solutions that align with their mission and initiatives to improve the health and well-being of society and the planet.

Mylkubator is one of their latest incubation programs targeted towards innovators who are seeking to develop innovative solutions for the dairy industry utilizing cellular agriculture technology. The goal of Mylkubator is to transform the food value chain for the production of dairy alternatives using cell-based, fermentation, or applied technologies. Out of the hundreds of applicants who apply annually, approximately ten startups will be selected to join their six-month hybrid incubation program.

Their incubation program will follow a hybrid model with most correspondence taking place online but they can also work with participants at their facilities in Spain or global partners to provide participants with access to resources as needed. The technologies developed through Mylkucubator can be applied to a variety of industries and types of products.

Participants who are selected for the six-month program will receive support with fundraising, technology, scientific development, and are provided access to a global network of mentors and first-class facilities to test their products. Participants will gain access to and work with experts in the dairy industry to develop their technologies, business model, value proposition, and take products to the market.

The call for project applications will be open until June 20, 2021. At the end of the six months, participants will pitch their products to venture capitals and investors at the global level on Demo Day. To learn more and apply, head to https://mylkcubator.com/.
