SBDC Increases Impact Through Partnerships with Local Municipalities and WFD organizations

The SBDC is increasing its impact through supporting partnerships with local municipalities and workforce development organizations such as Digital Nest, the city of Capitola, and Scotts Valley.

Digital Nest Ecommerce Training- SBDC has been increasing services to the Latino business community through supporting junior advisors skilled in e-commerce. This has lead to over 40 new business sign-ups in Watsonville over the last couple of months. Once the business has graduated from these services, they will be referred to an SBDC advisor. Clicks 2 Bricks Incubator - SBDC has been working with e-commerce advisors Jake Nelson, Brian Case, and Bill Ross, to build out a multi-week training for entrepreneurs aiming to start a business online with the goal of opening a brick and mortar location. Santa Cruz County Revolving Loan Fund- SBDC will be officially launching the Santa Cruz County Revolving Loan Fund first week of September. Businesses can apply today.
