The Carrot of Carnot

Carnot Compression's Campaign is Closing on April 18th

Scotts Valley-based company, Carnot Compression, recently launched a StartEngine Campaign for their industry-disrupting compressor.

According to their campaign site, Carnot Compression has patented a method for solving the ‘heat of compression’ problem, and in the process has developed a means to drastically cut down on billions of dollars worth of wasted operating costs across a bevy of industries.

Air compressors and electrical consumption are not things that the average person typically thinks about on a daily basis, but they are the foundation and backbone of industries like manufacturing, automotive, food and beverage, and science and are what keep them running. In those types of environments, compressed air that is oil-free is essential because a small amount of oil could result in damages and contamination leading to expensive issues, and delays. Running those air compressors takes up 12% of the U.S industrial sectors’ electrical consumption and they often have several confusing parts and pieces that are required, not to mention maintenance costs.

Carnot’s proprietary compressor technology significantly reduces the number of parts required and thus the maintenance cost. Carnot uses a patented isothermal manner of compressing air that is oil-free and aims to make the most reliable, cost-effective compressor on the market.

So far, Carnot has raised $680K from 866 investors. Investors have 62 days remaining to contribute to their StartEngine Campaign.
