Immergo Labs Joins Fogarty Innovation Company Accelerator Program (CAP)

Santa Cruz Accelerates graduates, Immergo Labs, recently shared that they have been selected as one of fifty companies to be part of Fogarty Innovation’s Company Accelerator Program (CAP).

CAP is a six-month long program that supports early-stage companies in meeting specific goals by providing a cross-functional assessment, work plan, and strategic guidance.

Immergo Labs is known for developing a first-of-its-kind virtual and interactive telehealth platform for physical therapy. With Immergo’s technology, in-person and missed appointments due to transportation issues will become a thing of the past. Patients and their physical therapists are able to conduct their sessions virtually in a 3D exercise environment using sensors and gyroscopic remotes to see each other moving in real-time. Immergo’s platform automatically tracks and documents valuable data points — like the range of motion of a patient’s limbs — making it quick and easy to record a patient's progress.

Fogarty Innovation provides various programs to support companies across all stages of development.

Through CAP, 50 companies will receive access to a team of veteran Silicon Valley medtech mentors and experts from a broad range of backgrounds, a 30,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility, and tailored educational program. Immergo Labs will be receiving support from mentors Marga Ortigas-Wedekind and John Morriss. Successful CAPs who have an interest in further incubation may later apply to Fogarty Innovation’s Company-in-Residence program.

The Immergo Labs team commented via Linkedin that “This opportunity helps Immergo Labs bring on a vast amount of #medtech experience to drive the company’s goals of increasing accessibility to physical rehabilitation.”

Immergo Labs is valued at $19.48m and have raised over $160,000 via StartEngine since their campaign launched late September 2022.
