Support the Next Generation of Tech Workers by Supporting NEST Flight Conference
The NEST Flight conference will provide career inspiration, education and professional connections to over 300 college age youth from under-served communities.
The goal of the conference is to help attendees jump start their career journeys. The conference will take place in downtown Watsonville on October 12, 2019. The program includes Keynotes by industry icons (including Guy Kawasaki), Panel Sessions with professionals talking about their current roles and career journey's, Hands-On Workshops on a variety of topics, a Mentor Lunch and last a visit to the Opportunity Hall where attendees will have a chance to talk with representatives from local companies to learn about career tracks within those companies and any current job openings. In addition to a great program, we have a nice group of sponsors including tech companies like GitHub, Poly, Looker but we would still like to recruit a few more.
A key part of the value of the conference is the opportunity for the attendees to engage with local businesses and professionals who are in careers the youth may be interested in. Please consider getting involved in one of the following ways:
