Top 5 Tools Used by Startups

Some expenses are unavoidable, but numerous resources are available today to help founders reduce operational costs. Grants, subsidies, and online apps can help startups not only reduce costs but also save time and get organized. We surveyed some startups in our network on the tools and apps they use the most. Here’s what they said:

Previously known as Google Suite, Google Workspace includes all-in-one cloud-based office tools you most likely use and love such as: Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Meet, Calendar. Google Workspace offers solutions for individuals, businesses, enterprises, developers, educators, and non-profits. According to Google’s 2021 Year In Review, Google Workspace grew to more than 3 billion users globally.

Slack is an online messaging app utilized by businesses and communities that aims to help keep people in communication. Users can divide themselves into teams and create channels to discuss specific topics or projects. Slack can be used on mobile or desktop, allows users to send and quickly search through chats, send and save attachments, and much more.

3. Zoom

Zoom is a cloud-based video communications app headquartered in San Jose, California. By now The app became a crucial tool used by businesses and communities during the pandemic. 5. Quickbooks

Quickbooks is an accounting software package developed and marketed by Intuit. Quickbooks helps users and business owners track income and expenses, organize and track receipts, manage cash flow, and more depending on the subscription type. Quickbooks has several online plan options as well as a Desktop Pro plus version.
